It is a privilage to serve as the principal of Homeland Park Elementary School. I have been in education for eleven years and will be in my second year at Homeland Park. My wife Tracie serves as the principal of Temple Christian Academy. We have two wonderful daughters, Caitlin and Hannah Grace. I graduated from Pendleton High School and then left home to serve this great nation in the Army. After my service, I earned a BS in Elementary Education at Anderson University. Then I attended Clemson University where I earned a Master of Education in Supervision.
I am looking forward to the 2009-2010 school year. I believe this will be a great year for learning at HP. I am also looking forward to continuing to build our relationship with our community. It is important to me that Homeland Park Elementary be a place where children want to go, parents want them to go there, and people want to come see what we are doing. A school is a place where the future is created and memories are made. At Homeland Park, it is my personal goal that the future will be bright and the memories will be those that children will want to relive. Take some time and come by to visit your school!
